Idea: Public, Geolocated FB ‘Likes’
So you’re watching the new CTFxC vlog and you realize that the Facebook Like button for the video says “10+ people near you like this.” Wouldn’t that just blow your mind? It certainly would blow mine. I’d go on a quest to find these people. Totally. Hm… Maybe not. Yeah, I wouldn’t even move a single finger, but still, that’d be pretty cool.
What would be even cooler is if you were taking the bus or some type of public transportation, and your smartphone vibrated to tell you that a person within 10m likes programming just like you do or likes the same type of music you do. That’d be fucking epic.
